The brief was to communicate the expertise of HSBC wealth managers, and their deep understanding of the needs of their premier customers. HSBC wealth managers were best-in-class at delivering wealth advice tailored to the needs of individuals.
The challenge was how to develop this range of properties in a way that talked about the bank’s wealth management services and values in a nuanced and non-salesy way, one which gave their internal wealth managers material to share with their own customers that would get them thinking about their own needs and spur conversations between the bank and its premier clients.
The solution was to develop, produce and deliver a series of mini-documentaries in which we travelled around the world and filmed intimate and personal portals of a number of high-net-worth individuals who all had very different sets of circumstances. In the films we explored their lives, talking to them about their businesses/occupations and how their attitudes to wealth had shifted and changed as their lives progressed.
We looked at their work and passions and explored the legacies that they were trying to shape for their families and for the next generation in a series of films shot in Dubai, France, the USA, and Brazil.
